Occupying 3.5 acres of land, the grounds and site buildings incorporate many artifacts acquired from London by George Burt, one of the founders of the Mowlem construction company and the house's creator. With a large car park, and both a restaurant and bar in the main house, this is an excellent base from which to explore Swanage and the sights of the Jurassic Coast, with Bournemouth just 24 km (15 miles) away. |
